I purchased this 2007 Ninja 250 (EX250) from the 2nd owner on April 5, 2010. With only 230 original miles (370 km) when purchased, it is in showroom-new condition. As is my style, I will be leaving the Ninja 250 in original condition and will not be modifying it in any way - no custom paint, aftermarket exhaust systems, rear fender eliminators, engine modifications, flush-mount turn signals, etc. Often times considered an entry-level machine for new riders, the EX250 can provide experienced riders with a reminder of how enjoyable a small, lightweight streetbike can be. Purchased as sort of a "project bike," I will be evaluating the Ninja to see what if any work may need to be performed on it. Possibilities include cleaning out the carburetors (gummed up from long periods of inactivity), maybe a new battery and an oil/filter change, check rear wheel alignment plus general lubrication, cleaning and maintenance. My observations:
I have since corrected all deficiencies listed above, for photos of the Ninja's rehabilitation I invite you to visit my Ninja 250 Rehab Page.
