This 1978 GS750E was purchased on April 17, 1990 from a long time friend, Ken Wolohon of Lakewood, Colorado. He purchased the machine new on Feb. 4, 1978 and did an outstanding job of maintaining it. It has not been restored in any way - the paint, chrome, seat, exhaust system, bodywork, etc. are all factory original. It is in fine condition throughout, almost too nice to ride. A strong running machine offering a durable and reliable engine, digital gear indicator, comfortable seat, attractive styling and other desirable features. N39 44 33.54 W105 28 27.25 ? LAT 39.742650 LON -105.474236 ![]() The GS750E is pictured above in Clear Creek Canyon just east of Idaho Springs, Colorado. Originally a narrow-gauge railroad constructed in the early 1870's and now U.S. Highway 6, the route through Clear Creek Canyon was opened to motor vehicle traffic after World War II.
After last being ridden on August 28, 1990, I started the process of "reviving" the GS750 on November 9, 2003, a process which required more time and effort than expected. For a detailed account, visit my Motorcycle Storage Information Page. The GS was ridden a total of 92 miles (147 km) for a photography session and on January 13, 2004 was returned to long-term storage. Total mileage on this machine is 19238 (30781 km). This machine is also pictured on the cover of Clymer Service, Repair and Maintenance manual M370 Suzuki GS750 Fours 1977-1982, twelfth and subsequent printings starting September, 2004. Visit the Clymer website to see their fine selection of manuals. As with other machines in the collection, the GS750E is only offered for sale via the terms and conditions detailed on my Q&A Page and associated Selling Page. In addition, there is no asking price.
