1966 SUZUKI X6 HUSTLER

Also known as model T20, the "Super Six"

I purchased this 1966 T20 X6 Hustler (Super Six) from the original owner on June 8, 1992, mileage at time of purchase 5805 (9288 km). The previous owner had maintained it well although several pieces that were originally painted had been chromed. In addition, high-riser handlebars and longer control cables had replaced the original items.

Over the course of almost 2 years I was lucky enough to locate an original handlebar and all control cables. The chrome pieces were stripped and painted as original and other detail work was performed to bring it up to its current condition as pictured. It was last ridden on October 2, 1993, total mileage 5873 (9297 km).

It runs very strong in the true "X6" tradition and cruises effortlessly at 60mph. Entered in the Classic Japanese category at the Cycle World International Motorcycle Show held at Denver's Currigan Exhibition Hall, March 1996, it was awarded 1st place in the category.

First introduced in 1965, the six-speed model T20 immediately set the performance benchmark for all other similiarly-sized machines.
