1971 SUZUKI TS125

I purchased this 1971 TS125 (TS125R) on April 17, 1990. Prior to that it was owned by my long time friend Ken Wolohon of Lakewood, Colorado who purchased it new in 1971. Ken did an excellent job of maintaining it. It was virtually like-new at the time of purchase and it remains that way today.

The TS125 was last ridden on June 17, 1990 and it performed perfectly with no problems at all. It has been ridden approximately 15000 miles (24000 km). Ken said the original speedometer/odometer quit working at a little over 13000 miles (20800 km) and at that time he replaced it, it now shows a little over 2000 miles (3200 km).

Although not considered a rare, unusual or even collectible machine, very few TS125 models have survived in pristine condition. Typical of the early Japanese "enduro" on/off road machines, most were ridden hard and enjoyed by younger riders.

The TS125 is pictured above at Red Rocks Park near Morrison, Colorado. The 1971 models were the first TS125s offered for sale in the U.S.

As with other machines in the collection, the TS125 is not offered for sale at this time.
