1971 SUZUKI TS250

I purchased this 1971 TS250 (TS250R) new on March 11, 1971. It is well used but not abused.

I have seen many an enjoyable trail and street ride on this machine. Until my recent restoration the TS had not been ridden for well over 20 years. Restoration details are below. Current mileage is 13783 (22191 km).

The TS250 is pictured above in Red Rocks Park near Morrison, Colorado.

This machine was my project bike for the northern-hemisphere winter of 2007-2008. The TS250 received a "semi-restoration" and I revived it after an inactive period of over 20 years.

It received new fork seals, fresh grease and all other lubricants, new lower steering head bearings, new tires, a thorough cleaning, various rubber parts were replaced along with other bits and pieces. Here are 4 photos taken during the process:

The TS250 came back to life with little difficulty and on subsequent rides, such as the one pictured above, has performed perfectly without even the slightest hint of a problem. Amazing given its age and the fact it was inactive for over 20 years.

As with other machines in the collection, the TS250 is only offered for sale via the terms and conditions detailed on my Q&A Page and associated Selling Page.

Additional restoration details are on my Motorcycle Storage Information Page.
