1974 TRIUMPH T150V TRIDENT

I purchased this 1974 T150V Trident on August 27, 1984, number of previous owners unknown. It was in fair condition, with most of the original parts intact except for the exhaust system. It needed considerable work and detailing.

Over the course of about 2 years I completed a near-total restoration, purchasing OEM parts as I went along.

A strong running machine with a pleasing exhaust note, it was last ridden on July 15, 1989. Total mileage shown is 3774 (6038 km) and it's probably not accurate although I believe that number is reasonably close to the actual.

The Trident is pictured above in Clear Creek Canyon east of Idaho Springs, Colorado. Originally a narrow-gauge railroad constructed in the early 1870's and now U.S. Highway 6, the route through Clear Creek Canyon was opened to motor vehicle traffic after World War II.
